January 15th Scripture Memory Verse

Blessings to each of you, girls,

God rewards our faithfulness and I hope He puts it on your heart to memorize a new scripture with us this year twice a month ( on the 1st and 15th). That way we'll have 24 verses 'hidden in our hearts' this year as Melissa has said earlier. Man, that's power against the enemy!!!

Don't forget to type your name and then your new verse here and put the reference (and translation) you are using.

Blessings, Kay Howell

When I am overwhelmed, I remember:
"He giveth power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increaseth strength." Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:29-31 KJ

"Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have." 2 Corinthians 8:11-12 (NIV)

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last." Romans 1:15-16 NIV

Furthermore, because of Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us from the beginning and all things happen just as He decided long ago.
